ACC-OC Celebrates Expansion of CalOptima’s Street Medicine Program to Anaheim
We are thrilled to share that CalOptima’s Street Medicine program, which provides crucial healthcare services to underserved populations, has expanded to Anaheim. ACC-OC had the privilege of touring CalOptima's first street medicine van in Garden Grove, and since then, the program has successfully reached multiple locations across Orange County.
This initiative brings vital medical care directly to those in need, offering services such as primary care, mental health support, and substance use treatment—all through a mobile van. Seeing this program grow and now serve Anaheim is a moment of immense pride for us.
The continued expansion of CalOptima’s Street Medicine program is a testament to the power of community-based healthcare, and we are excited to witness its positive impact throughout the county!
