This week, ACC-OC and CalOptima Health hosted an insightful webinar discussing the transformation of Medi-Cal through California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative. The Webinar highlighted Enhanced Care Management (ECM), Community Supports, Grants and Incentives, and Street Medicine programs.

 

The transformation of Medi-Cal through CalAIM represents a significant step forward in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care that addresses both medical and social needs. 



 

ACC-OC is excited to participate in the 2024 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, July 21st to raise funds for CHOC!


Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.

Sustain Southern California

 

Sustain SoCal presents WATER SOLUTIONS 9 (WS9), focused on exploring real life strategies and innovations in water capture, storage, reuse, desal, groundwater replenishing, and combatting contamination. Investor, policy, and big data trends in Southern California will also be addressed.

 

Join them for professional presentations and networking as Sustain SoCal addresses pragmatic solutions to help assure sufficient and affordable supplies of water in our region.






 

City of Fountain Valley


Join Mayor Grandis and the City for an open forum to address homelessness in our community. Engage in meaningful discussions with representatives from the FVPD, OC Sheriff's/OC Parks, City Net, Volunteers of America Los Angeles (Central Cities Navigation Center Operator), and CalOptima.












 

Goodwill Orange County

See The Good Tour – a behind-the-scenes tour of the Goodwill operation; hosted at Goodwill’s Corporate Campus in Santa Ana, guests get an up-close at Goodwill’s mission work, retail and donation operation, and sustainability model. The next one is coming up on August 7.





 

City of Garden Grove


Join Garden Grove for an open house to discuss the exciting progress of the Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization Project! The Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization Project involves developing a new public safety facility for the Garden Grove Police Department, a new parking structure, and a redesigned Civic Center Park.


Project Phases:

- Phase I: Covering approximately 2.75 acres, this phase includes a new three-story public safety facility and a four-level parking structure at the corner of Acacia Parkway and Euclid Street.

- Phase II: Spanning approximately 2.7 acres, this phase features a redesigned Civic Center Park with open green spaces, a memorial grove, walking trails, and more.

Orange County Transportation Authority


The popular OC Fair Express bus service is back, offering affordable and convenient non-stop travel to the OC Fair on weekends from July 20 to August 18. Running Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to midnight, the service provides direct routes from Anaheim, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, and Laguna Hills to the OC Fair, helping riders save time and money on parking and gas.


Adults can ride for just $4 round trip and it's free for youth riders 18 and under. The Community College Pass and regular OC Bus passes are also accepted.
