February 11 is National 211 Day, celebrated across the country to recognize 211 call center teams and their tireless work serving local communities. In recognition of the important work 211OC does to connect thousands of our residents with health and human service resources in Orange County, they invite you and your family to a 2-1-1 Family Volunteerism Event.
Join us in creating and/or financially contributing to No-Sew Blankets, which will go to local, unsheltered residents in need. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work of 211OC.
DisneylandForward Project
City of Anaheim Announces Unprecedented Package of Community Benefits for Residents as Part of the DisneylandForward Project.
As part of the Development Agreement under consideration for the project, Disney has agreed to significant investments to address issues facing Anaheim. The majority of Disney’s cash contributions would happen upfront and enable the City to jumpstart key initiatives.
Some Key Commitments by Disney Include:
Invest a Minimum of $1.9 Billion in New Theme Park and Lodging Experiences in the First 10 Years
Contribute $30 Million in the First Five Years to Fund Affordable Housing Projects in Anaheim
Provide $8 Million to Park Improvements in Anaheim Outside the Anaheim Resort
Contribute $85 million for Improved Traffic Flow, Pedestrian Circulation and Safety
Continue Disney’s Successful Jobs, Mentorship and Career Development Program for Anaheim Residents

CalOptima Health is pleased to share that the Housing and Homeless Incentive Program (HHIP) Round 3 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) went live on January 17, 2024. Materials and the application portal link are available on the CalAIM webpage.
In line with CalOptima Health’s mission to serve members’ health needs and the HHIP purpose, this NOFO will be centered around three priority areas, including Equity Grants, Transitional Housing and Systems Change projects. Funding amounts/limits for each priority area are as follows:
Funding Priority | Grant Request Limit | Total Amount Available |
Equity Grants | $100,000 maximum | $1 million |
Transitional Housing | $5 million maximum | Up to $25 million |
Systems Change Projects | $2 million minimum | Up to $10.18 million |
All applications are due on February 22, 2024 (5:00 p.m. PST).
