USA 250 Orange County
The 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence will take place on July 4, 2026, the perfect time for all Orange Countians to come together to commemorate and reflect on our country’s history, its founding principles and Orange County’s contributions to its growth and development.
Join us on January 14, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. for the official launch of USA250-OC, a non-profit and non-partisan project to unite, without uniformity, our community in a year-long focus on the aspirations, rights, and responsibilities announced in the Declaration and established in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
We are honored to host Jeffrey Rosen, President of the National Constitution Center and author of “Pursuit of Happiness” and President George Washington as our speakers.
The event will be held in the historic East Room at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda. Tickets to the event are free, but you must make reservations HERE.

City of Irvine
The City of Irvine, in collaboration with UCI Health, is organizing a blood drive to address the critical blood supply shortage impacting patient care both locally and nationally. The event will be held at the Irvine Civic Center on Thursday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are encouraged but not required, and walk-ins are welcome. Orange County Sanitation District
The Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) recently achieved national recognition from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), receiving two highly esteemed awards for its environmental leadership:
National Environmental Achievement Award in Community Leadership: This award celebrates the completion of the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS), the world’s largest water reuse project. The GWRS now recycles 100% of OC San’s reclaimable wastewater, producing enough purified water to serve 1 million people daily.
Highlighting OC San’s Connection Newsletter and its Employee Development Program. These initiatives foster internal communication, professional growth, and team engagement, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to an empowered and informed workforce.
The success of the GWRS, a joint effort with the Orange County Water District (OCWD), highlights OC San’s dedication to innovation and environmental stewardship.

City of Santa Ana
The Santa Ana City Council will hold a special meeting to declare the results of the 2024 General Municipal Election and administer the Oath of Office to the newly elected members.
