CalOptima PACE and Street Medicine Tour

Join ACC-OC and CalOptima Health to celebrate the 13th anniversary of Orange County’s first Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Garden Grove. Experience the PACE center’s modern and spacious location and learn how PACE combines health care and adult day services. At PACE, participants benefit from an on-site primary care clinic with exam rooms and nurses’ stations; an in-house pharmacy; and an extensive therapy area with parallel bars, exercise bikes, weights and resistance machines to improve movement and safety. Daily fitness classes maintain strength and function, and other specialized classes are available to teach healthy cooking, English as a second language and much more. Since 2013, PACE has been offering a complete health care program for older adults who have chronic health conditions but want to remain as independent as possible.
