About the event
Join ACC-OC and the CEO Leadership Alliance of Orange County (CLAOC) for a critical discussion on the impacts of artificial intelligence on local government. The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner and panel discussion moderated by Jasmine Pachnanda - Senior Vice President, Artificial Intelligence SoCal Initiative at CLAOC.
Panelists Include:
Keith Strier - Vice President, Worldwide AI Initiatives at NVIDIA
Keith Strier is Vice President, Worldwide AI Initiatives and Head of Global Public Sector for NVIDIA. Keith is responsible for commercial business and strategic partnerships (AI Nations) with foreign governments. Keith also serves in senior policy advisory roles across the world: Chair, International Cooperation, US National AI Advisory Committee (NAIAC) for President Biden; Co-Chair, AI Compute and Climate Expert Group, OECD; and Member, Australia’s National AI Centre, AI at Scale Think Tank (only non-Australian appointee).
Erik Linstead - Senior Associate Dean and Associate Professor in Machine Learning at Chapman University
Dr. Erik Linstead is the Senior Associate Dean of the Fowler School of Engineering, as well as a tenured associate professor of computer science and software engineering. His research interests are in the broad areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on applications to autism spectrum disorder, computer vision, and embedded real-time systems.
Kostas Alexandridis - GIS Analyst, OC Survey Geospatial Services at OC Public Works
Dr. Kostas Alexandridis, GISP has over 20 years of experience in research and academia. Currently serving as a GIS Analyst/ Spatial Complex Systems Scientist at the County of Orange, OC Survey Geospatial Services in Santa Ana, California. His skills and knowledge include spatial data science, advanced geoAI, machine learning, programming, modeling, and simulation for Digital Twins, and GISci in support of the digital transformation work at the County of Orange.
